History

EastFace Software was founded in 2005. What started as a web application development shop has evolved into a specialized practice around complex SaaS products, cloud infrastructure, and AI-powered features. We've spent the last two decades building and maintaining production applications for clients across real estate, property management, financial services, and travel - and we're increasingly focused on helping those clients leverage AI to do things that weren't possible before.

The Team

Doug Hays

Doug has 20+ years of experience in software architecture, database design, and full-stack web development. He founded EastFace Software in 2005 after serving as Director of Technology at PositiveWare and Technical Architect at SafeRent. He specializes in Rails and Elixir/Phoenix applications, AWS infrastructure, and integrating LLMs into product workflows in ways that are practical, maintainable, and genuinely useful. He's built AI-powered features in production, including a custom LLM-driven quoting engine and tooling that allows non-technical team members to resolve bugs and ship features on their own.

Ryan Dingus

Ryan has 20+ years of web development experience across multiple platforms and technologies. He joined EastFace Software as a consultant in April 2007.
